Responsible Cotton Sourcing: The Cotton LEADS℠ Program – Webinar by USFIA

Manufacturers, brands and retailers are now looking further up the supply chain to learn more about how their raw materials are grown or produced. The webinar discusses how the supply chain can be more educated and more confident in their raw material decisions through the Cotton LEADS℠ program.

Mark Messura, Senior Vice President of Global Supply Chain Marketing for Cotton Incorporated discusses the goals of the program and the research, investment and measurement that exist in Australia and the U.S. to continuously improve cotton’s impact on the environment. Efforts continue in 2015 with the Fieldprint® Calculator, the life cycle assessment for cotton, and an international research roundtable.
